In Response to Your Status

To I.K. Barber:

Stop making love to girls you don't like.
Forget that love is exposure,
But you ride the subway
So I assume risks thrill you.

I never tongue kissed fate for fear of being stung.
Actually, that's a lie.
I never thought about the sting
When I approached her with ribs wide open.

Your regrets are on display,
And here we are
Fighting feelings with artillery.

Re: To I.K. Barber

Love made well?
Brains fucked out...
Casual sex
One night stood at the idea of all these different forms of fornicstion electing a doorway.

I haven't made love since love songs were made to make love to.

I drip sweet at how vulnerable the years have aged me; plainly scared to death of being left alone.

My heart's on my sleeve and I'm fashioning the emperor's new clothes.

la estrategia del caracol

a contribution or offering to the modern literary world
when you see me on the crowded streets of a lonely city
stop so I can tell you how beautiful your eyes look filled
up with sunlight and regret.

here we stand bowing our heads and listening to a Mistress
sing about lonely hearts in Miami (I have never been, and
still I long for you)

heart of gold cannot withstand the pressure of love
exploding in the face of nonbelievers
and believers alike

KPN

So, there's this video game series called Resident Evil. It's about a science experiment gone awry causing a living dead catastrophe...pretty typical, right?

right.

Anyway, you are a woman trying to get information about what happened, you kill a bunch of undead people and creatures, etc etc.

ok yes
undead people might not be correct

But, the thing that you'd like is that to save your progress you need to find ribbons with which to operate a typewriter to save the game.

no way

Way
The game was made for you.
You love mutants and
post-apocalyptic things.

it seems a bit extreme for me

Fine.
I guess you and I really weren't meant to be.
Probably because we were born a day apart.

13 senses

sunlit bronze topic
reminds me of so cal in july

heat so thick it stuck to the back of my throat
by noon I was exhausted

if we stayed long enough
light fog moved over sweltering cement

summer is
kissing at dusk with burning sky back drop
